RUSSIAN CENTRE FOR SCIENCE AND CULTURE IN ZAMBIA

The Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) has been existing in Lusaka since 1989. Its activities are directed towards establishing and developing cultural, social and scientific ties between Russia and Zambia as well as spreading objective information about modern Russia, the reforms carried out in Russia and its cultural, scientific and spiritual heritage.

Traditionally, the key activities of Russian Cultural and Scientific Centre are aimed at teaching Russian language and promoting Russian literature, as well as assisting in the advancement of educational programmes and scientific achievements of Russia's high schools.

Various cultural events are regularly conducted at the RCSC. These include round tables, photo-exhibitions, video shows of Russian feature and documentary films.

Library services and Russian language lessons are offered.
